Meet our xFramer: Aya Kaita

We are xFramer Feb 11, 2022

Hi everyone, this is xFrame!

Thank you very much for using xFrame 🥰

We are happy to introduce to you the “Meet our xFramer” series, where you can get to know our team members and learn more about the people behind our service.

Let’s have a small talk with our beloved Designer - Ms. Aya Kaita 👏👏👏

1. Who are you? Tell something about yourself!

I'm Kaita, a designer.
I live in Kyoto, Japan.

My hobby is playing guitar in a music band.
Music-making, like design-making, is a process of testing many different options before coming to the final decision. It's hard sometimes, but I enjoy it!

2. What’s your role at xFrame?

At xFrame, I take on UI/UX design work.

My mission is to constantly think about improvements to help users can come across photos that they like.

I personally love the photos produced by the xFrame Creative Team, so I hope more and more people can reach them!

3. What’s your working background?

I have experience working for a production company and working as an in-house designer.

My main job is to create Web Page. I used to do coding, too.

4. What does a regular day at xFrame look like for you?

My working day usually starts very early, because I can easily focus on work in the morning.

And of course, when focusing, I will tackle the tasks that need more brain use, while the simpler tasks will usually be done in the rest of the day, after lunch.

Every day I have 2 online meetings via ZOOM taking place at the beginning and the end of the day. The morning meeting between me and my boss (Mr. Miyamae) usually consists of reporting on work progress, discussing design, and sometimes chatting. The other one is a meeting with the developers in the team to exchange progress and discuss the works, which have collaboration between design and technology.

5. What tools do you usually use for work?

Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop.

Figma is my favorite tool. It's easy to operate and you can create everything from design to prototype.
Besides, this tool makes it easier to interact with developers and directors, too!

6. Where does your creative inspiration usually come from?

Dribble and Pinterest.

Dribble helps me a lot when looking for reference images for UI design. And Pinterest is always a top candidate for searching Visual Design.

I don't know if you're like me but it's easy to get lost in it when surfing Pinterest, so I always have to be very careful (laughs)

7. What's the favorite design product you've worked on for xFrame?

About Page!

As you can see on this page, we hope that xFrame values can be spread all over the world and help diversity the current creative content on the Asian market.

In addition, the photos that appear on this page are all carefully selected to represent content with an unlimited creative scope on our website.

8. What do you usually do in your free time?

I'm addicted to camping lately.

If you go camping and try to immerse yourself in the natural world, you can have relaxing experiences that you rarely get in the rush of life out there.

Then, I always spend time slowly cooking or reading.
No matter what you do, it will be a special and wonderful time, so why not go camping when you have time?

9. TOP 3 places you want to travel the most?

I really want to meet our Team in Hanoi Office. At that time, I will also use some simple Vietnamese that they taught me, like “Xin chào” (Hello) and “Tạm biệt” (Goodbye)!

10. Where can people find you/ chat to you?

This is my Facebook account! See you there!
